Abstract

A clothesline is a tool for drying wet clothes by utilizing the sun's heat. A person needs a clothesline to dry clothes. A clothesline is one of the house hold appliances used to dry damp clothes by utilizing the sun's heat. Therefore, a clothesline is a mandatory tool that every household must have to dry wet clothes after washing, so that the clothes dry quickly and the clothes are ready to be used again. In the current digital era Internet of things is a concept in which an objector objects are embedded with technologies such as sensors and software with the aim of communicating, controlling, connecting, and exchanging data through other devices as long as they are connected to the internet. The making of this automatic clothesline uses 2 sensors to detect the weather, with the data read by the sensor then sending the data to the Blynk IOTapplication so that the user can decide whether to remove the clothesline or not. Before its implementation, the two sensors were tested as many as 5 trials with 3different output data and set the required values to avoid reading errors. From the test results of the two sensors, the results of the ldr sensor with the maximum reading value in sunny conditions is 1023 lux and the minimum value when it is dark is 11 lux, while the raindrop sensor has a maximum value of 1024and a minimum value of 317 with conditions when the weather is rainy clothes line is entire and when the weather is sunny it is removed with restrictions if the value is above 500 then the sensor reads sunny then if the value is below 500 then the sensor reading produces rain. Testing with a DC motor with a duty cycle parameter of 0-100% gives a load torque of 0.166 Nm with a maximum motor speed of 7686rpm.
