Abstract

The world of aviation is often preceded by problems that are influenced by human problems themselves, other rules such as the occurrence of errors in the handling of passenger luggage. The efforts that can be made are knowing the type of damage, losing and delaying what happened and knowing the causes of its occurrence, and being able to provide repair suggestionsto the Super Air Jet airline at Yogyakarta International Airport. The method used in this research is Failure Mode And Effect Analysis FMEA. This FMEA is used to analyze the root cause of a failure and for the highest priority in making repairs by multiplying the Severity, Occurance, and Detection values to obtain the highest RPN value which is the top priority in repairs. The factor that causes damage and loss is the difficulty of accuracy such as errors in reading and entering data, fatigue from the workers themselves, carelessness, luggage deliberately taken or stolen.
