Abstract

Glow Plug Igniter is a tool used to help turn on the Nitro Engine on control line model aircraft. The process of starting the Nitro Engine cannot be separated from the process of carrying the Glow Plug Igniter itself. When the race starts the mechanic will run to the place where the airplane crashed, and will immediately bring the plane to the nearest pitstop and restart it to continue the race. The design of the glow plug igniter, which is practical in carrying and in use, helps start the nitro engine, must be suitable and must not be too burdensome for the mechanics. Therefore, the design of the glow plug igniter must be able to provide comfort for mechanics, be easy to use, and practical to carry and use. In order to obtain this design, input is needed in the form of the consumer's desire to design a glow plug igniter, using QFD what the consumer desires can be known. The result of QFD is that the glow plug igniter must be lightweight and have long-lasting battery life, as well as a practical design so that it can provide a sense of security and comfort for users, and is easy to carry and use.
