Abstract

CV. Larasati Abadi Jaya is a wood processing factory engaged in the production of plywood. The production process has not implemented K3 properly and there are risks and various potential hazards such as poor air circulation, SOP that are not implemented, not using PPE while working which can potentially cause work accidents. The purpose of this study was to assess K3 risk analysis using the HIRARC method in the production process of plywood manufacture. This type of research is descriptive. Data collection by observation and interviews. The sample used is the workers in the production process. Data analysis was explained descriptively by describing K3 risks using the HIRARC method through 3 stages, namely K3 hazard identification, K3 risk assessment, and K3 risk control. The results of the physical hazard study were 26% (moderate), 26% (high), 3% (low) ) and 45% (extreme). The control methods are administration, PPE, engineering. The advice given to the company is to measure external environmental factors, monitor and evaluate risks, make SOPs for K3 risk control and provide PPE for workers.
