Abstract

Timeliness according to schedule is an important aspect of the aircraft maintenance and repair process. For all activities that support the aircraft maintenance process, good cooperation with logistics vendors is required. Therefore, in order to optimize the material delivery process, how do you determine and choose the right third-party logistics vendor for the XYZ service at PT. GMF Aeroasia? In choosing the best third-party logistics vendor, there are several criteria to consider. The method used in the selection of third-party logistics vendors is a combination of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. Based on the results of research conducted on the level of importance in the selection of third-party logistics vendors, the priority scale is obtained as follows: On time delivery with a weight of 0.37, the second order is quality criteria with a weight of 0.30, the third order is a criterion Service with a weight of 0.18, the fourth order is Flexibility with a weight of 0.11, and the fifth or last order is the Price criterion with a weight of 0.05. From the results of the assessment obtained, the alternative logistics vendor priorities are generated as follows: Vendor D with a weight of 0.804, then in second place is Vendor A with a weight of 0.559, in third place is Vendor B with a weight of 0.276, and in fourth or last place is Vendor C with a weight of 0.098.
