Abstract

The Block O Road intersection is a road route between provincial roadsby district road. This road is passed by many vehicles in the form of motorbikes andcar to go to school and work. Highest activity on weekdaysvisible in the morning on JL.Maguwo and in the afternoon on JL. North direction, while onThe highest weekend activity occurs in the afternoon on JL.Maguwo and JL.janti.In this research, the rearrangement of traffic light lights was carried out usingsimulation approach in SUMO 1.14.1 software. The simulation is organized based onnumber of vehicles passing through the intersection, time between arrivals, and durationtraffic lights on. The simulation is made the same as the real situation, so thatxvcan create new and visible traffic light scenarioshow many vehicles leave the intersection.Based on the research results, the first proposal was obtained at06:00 WIB weekdays on JL Maguwo, 69 motorbikes and 8 cars were obtained, on JLTo the south, 78 motorbikes and 24 cars were obtained, while on JL Janti, 35 were obtainedmotorbikes and 4 cars and on JL North Direction, 79 motorbikes and 34 cars were obtained.The second proposal at 16:00 WIB on weekdays on JL Maguwo received a score of 60motorbikes and 10 cars, on JL South Direction, 61 motorbikes and 30 cars were obtained, atJL Janti scored 49 motorbikes and 9 cars and JL North Direction scored76 motorbikes and 42 cars. The third proposal is at 16:00 WIB on weekends on JLMaguwo obtained a score of 39 motorbikes and 6 cars, on JL South Direction he obtained a score52 motorbikes and 32 cars, on JL Janti the value was 27 motorbikes and 5 cars and on JLTo the north, 101 motorbikes and 40 cars were obtained. This suggestion was obtained fromtrial & error experiment.
