Abstract

Safety of a person's life is the main priority when driving. Factors that can cause accidents while driving must really pay attention. Therefore, what can be done is: anticipate this so that it doesn't happen. With current technological advances, It is hoped that this will help minimize the occurrence of accidents. At this time The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has greatly helped reduce this risk of accidents. The use of IoT has a concept where an objector objects embedded with technology such as sensors and software with the aim of communicate, control, connect, and exchange data through other devices connected to the internet. The aim of this research is to reduce the risk of accidents by creating a tool system that can provide Warning on vehicle speed if the speed exceeds the reasonable limit capable of monitoring in real time using an Android application that can displays location data, vehicle location coordinates and vehicle speed. In this research, an Arduino microcontroller device was usedMega2560 configured with Neo 6M GPS sensor, SIM800L module, LCD16x2 and buzzer. The GPS sensor sends data to the microcontroller in the form of location location based on Lattitude and Longitude coordinates, as well as sending data vehicle speed based on satellite reading results. The results of the data obtained from The sensor and GPS readings are then processed and can then be obtained monitored using the Blynk application with map display for location detection vehicle. As a result of this research, the system can monitor vehicle location based on Lattitude and Longitude coordinates, then it can provide speed warning from vehicle speed data based on reading results satellite. The device is connected to the GSM network to connect the device to the application BLYNK, speed value and speed limit are displayed on 16x2 LCD, indicator on the tool when the vehicle speed exceeds the normal use limit buzzer sound indicator.
