Abstract
Activities around the airport produce noise that can result in disruption of communication, work and community activities, decreased environmental quality, and significant health disruption if the exposure that occurs is included in high levels of noise and occurs continuously for a long period of time. The research methodology used is Quantitative Research Methodology which applies field measurement techniques using a noise meter or commonly called a Sound Level Meter and analyzed quantitatively. The results of measuring the actual value of noise show that the WECPNL noise level at BKK Point Level I has an average noise of 68.0 dB(A), BKK Point Level II has an average WECPNL noise value of 75.1 dB(A), and at BKK Point Level III has an average WECPNL noise value of 78.5 dB(A). The Boeing B737- 800 has a higher noise level than the Airbus A320-200, although the CFM56-5B engine frequency value on the Airbus A320-200 is higher than the CFM56-7B engine frequency on the Boeing B737-800. The area affected by noise spread in the Level I Noise Area is 8,876,019 m2. In the Level II Noise Area covering an area of 4,305,818 m2. While in the Level III Noise Area (≥ 80 WECPNL) covering an area of 1,732,531 m2.
