Abstract

Nusawiru Airport is located in Pangandaran, West Java, where training flights and civil flights operate, which use a lot of Visual Flight Rules. There is an approach and landing guide procedure using instrument references for Instrument Flight Rule (IFR) flights. For a beginning pilot student, it is felt that he needs a guide procedure and reference to make a visual approach and landing. So, it was felt necessary to make approach and landing procedures using visual references. This research study uses KAYAM's Gatepoint reference for landing at RW-07 Nusawiru Airport. By using the basics of flight calculations and designing approach procedures, two types of approach procedures were produced for RW-07 for aircraft of the Light Aircraft and Medium Turboprop Aircraft categories.
